British Airways officially unveiled its latest (but not last ) Club One lounge in New York JFK Airport. Located in Terminal 7, opened a few weeks ago, new lounge completes the series of redevelopments, followed after Rome and Aberdeen.

British Airways has over 30 dedicated lounges and more than 100 additional partner lounges around the world.

The lounge in New York completes a £52 million investment, with the new First Class launched last autumn. Club One lounge in JFK terminal 7 welcomes the passengers departing and arriving from twelve different Transatlantic flights in a day.

The new Club One lounge space of 22,000 sq. ft., seating areas with the workstations and power outlets, we can not imagine our lives without. The new Club One lounge also includes a Sony entertainment room, where Business Class flyers can spend time. British Airways deals with many late departures, so there is a new pre-flight dining experience of brasserie-style dining with a range of smaller items for customers to ‘grab and go’.

Carolina Martinoli, British Airways’ Director of Brand and Customer Experience commented:

“JFK airport is like a second home to Heathrow so it’s great to mark the final step in our significant customer investment with the opening of our new Club and First lounges.

Every detail has been carefully designed and we’ve created a space to meet our customers’ needs – whether they want to relax and have a meal or enjoy a craft beer and catch up on the world news.”

And what about drinks?

Also, for those who would like to have a fancy drink, there is a granite-topped Quaich Bar, created in collaboration with Quaich bar at the Craigellachie Hotel in Speyside, Scotland. There you can find a selection of fine wines and cocktails, orange bitters and fresh berries.
