LATAM Airlines’ new Business Class interiors offer passengers a “travel experience with more options, flexibility, and personalization.”
LATAM’s Airlines New Sky-high Comfort
Over 200 aircraft, including Airbus A3500-1000, Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Boeing 767, and 777, are upgraded to the newest Business Class interiors.
The London-based design consultancy PriestmanGoode has worked together with LATAM Airlines to design the new cabin interiors. The newest Business Class seats will offer more personal space and better premium amenities.
Daniel Sohi, Project Head explains “It was important to us to imbue the aircraft with a sense of place, but LATAM Airlines Group encompasses a lot of different countries and therefore different visual identities.”
The chosen tones of subdued tan and grey shades undertake an elegant and modern refreshed ambiance. The Business Class cabin aims to offer increased privacy and a new service to make sure all passengers arrive well-rested. LATAM Airlines Business Class has staggered-type seats and a sliding divider for middle seats for better privacy. In this regard, the seating type is suitable for both solo travelers and couples. The seat presents a familiar to many premium travelers, with LATAM opting for the Vantage XL platform from Ireland’s Thompson Aero Seating – a design best known for its role as the Qantas Business Suite of the Airbus A330s, Boeing 787s, and soon the Airbus A380s. Each seat is a fully flatbed with an 18-inch HD video screen. Premium passengers can enjoy a fancy drink on the marble-effect granite cocktail table. Read more about Business Class Seat Types.
Nevertheless, both types offer more personalization depending on every passenger’s preference. LATAM Airlines Business Class passengers will be able to use the new, improved designs from early 2019.
